--prefix

• I've been fighting translating PREFIX into Module::Build for years now.

  • Because its complicated, twitchy and DOESN'T REALLY WORK.

• But Module::Build not having --prefix is the single biggest complaint.

  • And Module::Build's Makefile.PL compatibility wrapper, too.

• And some nice folks donated money for its development

  • Some other guy, maybe from ActiveState?

• --prefix is being added to Module::Build
