I have maintained MakeMaker over a year

I have reached a conclusion

• The architecture of MakeMaker is fundamentally flawed

  • it cannot be corrected

• Adding new features is a waste of effort

• Time would be better spent working on a new utility

The heir apparent is Ken William's Module::Build
